Bus from Larkin to Melaka

Most of the times, we will go to Larkin bus terminal in Johor to purchase bus tickets for our destination in Melaka.  No pre-booking.

SMRT Bus 950 or 856 from Woodlands Avenue 3 will bring us to the Woodlands Checkpoint.  We came here because we are staying in the west.

After clearing the Malaysia Immigration check (about 40 minutes wait), we need to take SBS bus 170 to Larkin bus terminal.  If there is no jam, probably it will take about 20 minutes.  Sometimes, there are other buses that go to Larkin from the bus platform which is just below the arrival/departure hall.  Need to look out for it.

Larkin bus terminal has been renovated.  Even the ticket purchasing is now centralized.  No more individual bus company counter selling ticket.  It was a little chaotic when we were there.  Probably it will improve over time.

We bought the tickets at 9.30am departure for MYR21 each.  The KKKL coach was comfortable.  Seat was spacious.  About 3 hours ride to Melaka without toilet break.
