Located walking distance from Hatten Hotel, this is another good restaurant to go for Indian food.  Air-conditioned with simple décor, the food here is very reasonable priced.   With it arched wooden windows and door, it is a nice and cosy place to have a wonderful meal.

We were there after 2pm and it was deserted.  I began to wonder did we make the right choice ?  There was only one wait server and probably one chef at the kitchen.  Shortly after us, another 8 people came.  Then another 2 people followed.  Despite the crowd, the server was courteous and efficient.

We ordered fish curry, palak paneer, aloo gobi, plain briyani rice, garlic naans and of course tandoori chicken.  Drinks included sweet lassie for daughter, masalah tea for wife and myself – cool glass of lime juice minus sugar.

Fish curry (MYR11.90) – this was the highlight of the entire meal.  Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection.  Next time here will definitely order this dish.

Tandoori chicken (MYR8.00) –  was good and flavoufful with the right amount of spices.  This is their signature dish.

Garlic naan (MYR7.00) –   a little soft.  Not as puffy as it should.  Nevertheless, it was good.

Palak paneer (MYR8.90)-  daughter’s favourite.  In fact I know this dish through her.  The sauteed spinach was cooked right.  It was not cheesy.

Aloo gobi (MYR7.50) – combination of cauliflower, potatoes with various Indian spices was delightful for the palate.

Plain Briyani rice (MYR3.50) –  as the name says it, it was quite plain.
