Stay = 1 night (14 Oct 2016)

2 years ago we had stayed in Hotel Icon and Ibis Insadong was next to it. 2 years later, we are back but this time in Ibis. I have a fondness of Ibis chain of hotel having a very enjoyable stay in Ibis Hokkaido last year.

We only stayed here one night at KRW 137,500 for triple sharing with attached bathroom. No breakfast included. The lobby is big and welcoming. Check-in is fast and professional. We arrived early but were allowed to check-in if we register as members of Ibis without any cost. Why not ?

Room is big with 3 very well laid white single beds. As usual, the comforts of a hotel are all available including a safe deposit box.

From Jongno -3 ga station, a huge transfer station for line 1, 3 and 5, walk out of Exit 4 – cross a small road and walk straight – turn right into a small lane and walk straight – turn right and walk straight – can see Crown Hotel – a few steps to Ibis. About 6 minutes walk from Exit 4.

Location is near Insadong and there are so many cafes and restaurants nearby. There is even a money exchange shop opposite Ibis. However, rate is not favourable here.

Though only one night, we enjoyed the stay of a well known brand of hotel chain which plays a part to protect the environment.
