A fine WordPress.com site

Tous Les Jours

Tous Les Jours is a “French-Asian” bakery serving a selection of bakery goods and beverages.  A South Korean outlet.  It means ‘everyday’.tlj_cakestlj_bread

Located at the very strategic position opposite LOT 10 of Bukit Bintang, it is just below Hotel Wolo.  This is a kind of café-style cum bakery that I will like to come back again.  We came back for a drink 2 days later.

The bakery has 2 floors.  With its high ceilings and glass windows that allow enough daylight, it is simply decorated.  I like the red tiled walls.  The area is big enough for you to sit around for a chat leisurely.

Beside the good quality bread and cakes, TLJ also serves food.  Somehow, the service was little slow.  We waited quite some time for our food though it was not so packed.  You need to order the food from the cashier.

I had the Pastrami Sandwich (RM18.90), a grilled mushroom and onion with premium pastrami ham in grain loaf.  The portion was huge.  Delicious.  tlj_ham

Wife ordered the Eggplant & Brie Cheese Sandwich(RM18.90)  which she enjoyed very much.

Daughter, as usual, ordered a bowl of mushroom soup (RM10.50) which was thick and creamy.

We also ordered a croissant and a cheese bun to share.   Our set-lunch came with a drink.  We were too full to try the cakes.  Maybe next time.

It is nice ambience with good food.   There are many such café outlets sprouting abundantly where tourists are.   With TLJ, we left feeling satisfied and happy.
