Tim Ho Wan, Midvalley outlet

The ever popular Tim Ho Wan was always a favourite for those who love Cantonese dim sum.  Despite the long queue, we decided to join in.  Surprisingly, the wait was not too long to be annoyed.   I reckon when you come to such restaurant, you just order, eat and go.  Not a ideal place to have a long chat at such settings

Every dim sum lunch, we never miss the harkau (prawn dumpling)and siewmai (pork dumpling with shrimp).  It is a must have for us.  THW did not disappoint us.  The texture was just right without being too porky.

The beancurd skin roll with pork and shrimp was delicious.  It was the highlight of our meal.

Pan fried carrot cake was of good standard.

Baked buns with BBQ pork was a favourite of my daughter.  To me, it was little too sweet.  Nevertheless, it was soft and nice to go with the Chinese tea.

Glutinous rice with lotus leaf was well done with the rice not overly cooked.
