Another short getaway in Melaka from 7 Aug to 9 August 2015. Having a very bad experience on the traffic jam during May visit, I decided to purchase the coach tickets from Johor Bahru to Melaka in advance. Ticket was MYR 30 per head on KKKL coach. From Larkin bus terminal, the price was MYR 21. Anyway, it was a comfortable 3 hours ride.
Accomodation – We booked the Fomec Boutique Hotel for this trip. Location was awesome, right at the other end of Jonker Walk.
Ole Sayang – a Peranakan restaurant located along Melaka Raya area where there are many types of eateries. Food is so-so.
Chap De Keng Kopitiam – wanton noodle
Pak Putra – we missed our favourite naan the last time. Food consistently good. Queue equally long. Nevertheless, service is very fast
Nadeje Café – looks like this is a must visit café whenever we are in Melaka. Love the delicious crepe.
Shui Xian Vegetarian – came here for our breakfast. First time here and hoping some good vegetarian dishes. Disappointed.
Sin Yin Hoe – did not plan to eat here but came across this old coffee shop with the often reviewed or-luak here.
Backlane Café – another hip place for coffee and cake. Many such coffee joints are opening up in the touristy areas of Melaka, I notice.
Canton-I restaurant (CitySquare in JB) – decided to have lunch here before heading home.
