Hotel Grid 9, KL review

Stayed at Grid 9 triple room ensuite for 3 nights at the total of MYR 459 with tax included (19/2/15 to 22/11/15). The room is basic but functional. No chair, no drinking water. Nothing more nothing less. Luckily, there are 2 windows in the room. Wifi was strong in the room. Price is affordable. Location is convenient.

There are 3 single beds and enough lights. The room is big enough for 3 adults. Bed is comfortable. However I found some hair on my bed. Bed linen was quite yellow.   Floor is bare concrete.

Bed is comfortable. Linen seems old and not clean.

Grid 9 is just 2 minutes walk from the KL monorail Maharajalela station. We arrived at Tasik Bandar Selatan bus terminal and took the LRT. Made a mistake by not buying the LRT ticket all the way to Maharajalela station.   It is also about 10 minutes walk from Grid 9 to Chinatown. Please take note that the way was deserted and quiet in the night with very little human traffic.

Reception is at the mezzanine floor. 2 computers were available for guests together with a billard table in the big recreation room at the same floor. Colourful bean bags were available too. There is a small café at the ground floor.

Grid 9 is valued for money for a basic stay with minimum expectations.
